Horizon Yachts has announced that the second unit of its E81 series, the 25.32-metre yacht Valiant, has been launched from its facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The first unit of the series was delivered to her owner this past July.Valiant will soon be delivered to her American owners and will make her debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which takes place from the 27th through to the 31st of October. The 79 GT yacht was designed in full by her builder, Horizon Yachts, who worked closely with the yacht’s owners to customise the yacht to their needs. The yacht’s owners opted for a modern interior design, which was tailored by Horizon Yachts USA, and is finished with two-toned white and silver oak, quartz surfaces and steel blue and grey accents.Of the experience of working closely with Horizon Yachts on the semi-custom build, Valiant’s owners commented, “This is the second boat we have done as a semi-custom build, but the experience has been quite different in that Horizon has bent over backwards to deliver what we want.”The main saloon opens up to a spacious galley forward. To port, an open staircase which holds a 46 bottle wine refrigerator, leads to the yacht’s enclosed bridge. Here, a U-shaped settee and a bar are found along with a helm station. A barbecue and additional seating are found on the sky deck.Valiant has a three stateroom layout and is able to accommodate six guests, which includes a full-beam master suite and an ensuite bathroom and dayhead. Though the E81 typically has four staterooms, the owners opted for an office and library space in lieu of the fourth sleeping accommodation.Performance-wise, the all-GRP yacht is equipped with two Caterpillar C32 diesel engines, with a combined 3,400 horsepower.
