Horizon Yachts has announced the sale of the first superyacht from the FD102 series, the FD102 Skyline. With the contract signed during the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show, she is expected to be launched in 2020.
The series, which now includes the FD77 Skyline, FD85, FD87 Skyline and FD125 Skyline models, was designed by Horizon and series designer Cor D. Rover. With a number of options for interior customisation, up to ten guests can be accommodated in five staterooms inside the 32-metre GRP hull. The new owner requested a walk-around deck, which is located on the bridge deck, and a storage space with a beach club on the aft area.
“The innovation of the FD102 Skyline shows Horizon possesses strong design and construction abilities that allow us to turn an owner’s dream into reality,” said Horizon CEO John Lu. “Since the series was introduced with the first FD85 in November of 2016, the feedback from owners and potential clients has served to further streamline the FD102 design and create a truly remarkable ocean-going superyacht that offers performance and stability as well as spacious interior and exterior areas.”
In other news, Horizon’s third FD87 is currently on sea trials and is expected for delivery later this year.
