A new 56-metre superyacht project designed by Turkish studio, Unique Yacht Design, is to be built by newly founded yacht builder HSY Yachts. The American client with previous yacht building experience decided to create a new brand for the build of this project. Construction has been approved and will commence in Antalya’s Free Zone next month.

Emrecan Özgün summarises the story: “Our client previously owned a yacht in Turkey and was pleased with the finishing quality of his yacht. During a visit to our studio in Antalya, he stated that he liked the exterior look of our Bilgin 263 design, however, it was too modern for his opinion. He requested the combination of classic and modern lines with our style while fitting them to 56 metres.”

Unique Yacht Design is, of course, the studio behind the two 80-metre projects currently under construction at Bilgin Yachts, code named Bilgin 263.

HSY Yachts to build new 56m superyacht for American client

Produced by UK-based Insensys, the system is based on three rotating carbon fibre masts capable of deploying up to 2,396 square-metres of sail.
