She then motored down the harbour to have the mast stepped before returning to the dock at the yard for final tweaking. Next week, her mast will be stepped and sails hoisted for the first time. At completion this will have been a 24 month construction process that Peter and the team at MCM have nurtured since inception on the drawing boards of Dubois Naval Architects back in 2005. From now until February, the finishing touches of each yacht will be thoroughly checked by Peter and the yards' teams. Both yachts will undergo sailing, motoring and anchoring trials over the coming weeks, to ensure that all the systems are running perfectly before the key is ready to be handed over to the proud owners.<noscript></noscript>
