The hull of the flagship 50.44-metre JFA 50M Aluminium Explorer yacht has been turned at the Van Noorloos Cascobouw BV shipyard in Werkendam, the Netherlands. 
Photo: Van Noorloos CascobouwThe momentous event marks a major milestone in her construction where outfitting of mechanical elements and interior engineering can now begin. The JFA 50M Aluminium Explorer will be the largest yacht built by JFA Yachts, and its first custom motor yacht with an aluminium hull and part of the superstructure in composite glass epoxy.
Photo: Van Noorloos CascobouwThe explorer superyacht features an exterior design, as well as naval architecture from Humphreys Yacht Design and is dominated by the extensive use of glazing, which also provides ample natural light to her interior.

Photo: Van Noorloos CascobouwThe interior of the JFA 50M Aluminium Explorer superyacht has been entrusted to m2atelier, which will curate the spaces to reflect the superyacht’s long-range autonomy and use as a family cruiser. The new motor yacht will have a light displacement, a hybrid propulsion system, stabiliser fins combined with a large Gyro and the capacity to carry a large tender and multiple toys.
