Hydromar Marine Equipment has announced that they have moved to a new production facility in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. The move is part of the company’s ambitions for the future, which include enhancing their partnership with Cramm Yachting Systems in the superyacht hydraulics market.
Rob Montijn, director of sales and operations at Hydromar comments on the move, stating: “Our facility includes a new workshop with an improved test facility and two overhead cranes, while the existing offices have been renovated. This move offers Hydromar significant gains in terms of efficiency and will enable us to embark on a new era with extra potential for growth.”
Hydromar and Cramm have been sister companies for some time, both under parent companies ESV Berlikum and SMI Group. While both are firmly in the premium end of the market, Cramm is experienced with semi and fully custom made products, whereas Hydromar specialises in tailor made products, thus creating the ideal partnership. “This allows us to work together to reach the best solution for customers by combining high-end, sophisticated standard solutions with customised ones from Cramm,” explains Montijn.
Montijn continues: “We have a broad range of knowledge, expertise and production facilities in-house. This allows us to provide the highest level of quality and service, and take care of the entire process from design and production to commissioning.”
