Icon Yachts and Erdevicki unveil superyacht project ER175

Icon Yachts and Erdevicki, Inc. of Vancouver, Canada have teamed up to complete the concept analysis and estimation to offer a complete design and build package for the ER175 to the highest level of quality and specification. The interior design and decor is left intentionally open to be influenced by the prospective client.

The exceptional 175 ft hull and superstructure are one harmonious, dynamic, integrated structure with pleasing sleek lines and futuristic looking fly bridge. The yacht under 500 GRT is designed to be built as a semi-displacement aluminium hull with 31 plus knots speed or a full-displacement hull in steel and aluminium superstructure with a lower speed but both with transatlantic range at cruising speed. The long waterline hull is designed for fuel efficiency and twin diesel engines ensure reliable and smooth sailing. The powerful bullet shaped bow defined by natural sheer lines will carve through the waves and provide reserve buoyancy for a smooth ride under all conditions.

This three-deck design provides a spacious interior and generous semi-sheltered deck space for leisure and entertainment. The luxurious accommodation sports a full beam, extra large owners stateroom on the main deck separated from all other accommodation, a generous galley leading into the full size dining area and spacious saloon with bar opening onto a veranda large enough to accommodate all guests and additional day visitors when required.

Four or five full size guest suites are located on the lower deck with direct access to the main deck and separated from the crew quarters with their own lounge and access to the upper decks. The pilothouse deck, aft behind the bridge and captain’s cabin, sports the sky lounge, open air bar and full size dining area shaded by a powered canvass awning, ending with a circular Jacuzzi with ample seating and sun beds for relaxation.

Aft at the lower deck level is a large, permanent beech club for sunbathing and boarding the yacht’s tender and jet skis, which are stored in the boat-house with side launching through a hydraulic door, without disturbing the beech club arrangement at all times. The fast RIB lifeboat is stowed away discretely behind the bow sun deck seating for a quick launch with the hydraulic crane also stowed away along the RIB.

The ICON ER175 designed and engineered by Ivan Erdevicki Naval Architecture & Yacht Design, Inc. bureau in Vancouver, Canada is under the cost estimation by Icon Yacht b.v. to be offered as a one-off build to a discerning client looking for a powerful and stylish fast cruising yacht that will certainly turn heads in any port, marina and anchorage it visits.
