This early morning, superyacht Seven Sins left the yard of Icon Yachts and headed towards the Mediterranean Sea. Within a tight time schedule, Icon Yachts managed to complete the extensive refit that was originally estimated to consume a minimum of 10 weeks.
Although it was such a short period, a lot has been done to bring back the sparkle of the 42 metre Seven Sins, such as the overhaul of the two generators, re-painting of the hull, new anti fouling, interior carpentry work, and more. The highly trained team of specialists, led by experienced Project Manager Jacob de Boer made it possible that all this work could be done in such a short timeframe.
Martin Andersson, captain of Seven Sins commented: “This was a 10 weeks refit done by ICON Yachts in only 6 weeks. This was only possible due to a very dedicated and efficient team. Working till midnight was more common than an exception”.
With Seven Sins, the yard has completed a total of 8 refit projects in the last 18 months.
