Redman Whiteley Dixon is once again the design team that Icon Yachts assigned the task to of working up a design for an optimized hull and platform, following the successful collaboration of the Icon 62. This time it is 80 metres long allowing for custom yachts of up to 95 to 100 metres length overall to be designed around it.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126940/image/large-50c7f8cc46d1fc89320f1f65bbfb7799.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126940">Already, Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) has drawn up one enticing example of what a prospective owner might like to do with it. Icon Yachts chose the first Abu Dhabi Yacht Show to unveil the Icon 95 to the public. Icon Yachts CEO, Wim Koersvelt says: “I have managed new constructions for a number of owners in the Middle East and believe this new Icon 95m will appeal to those looking for an efficient new yacht larger than the Icon 62m with complete freedom to customize”. Justin Redman of Redman Whiteley Dixon adds: “The RWD Icon 95 is an elegantly proportioned yacht conceptualised specifically for the Gulf States. By keeping the superstructure to three decks the designers were able to evolve the assertive Icon profile towards a lean and low silhouette. Icon 95 includes a fully compliant LY2 helipad with its own arrival saloon on the owners deck aft. The raked fore and aft windscreens contrast to the sinuous hull and superstructure lines to give the profile a dynamic poise. This space has the benefit of combining the protection of an interior with the freedom of exterior living. Internally the yacht has been designed to make the most of the fabulous views. Icon Yachts unveiled 95m superyacht at Abu Dhabi

The first is a semi-open space of 320 square-meters on the main deck, with opening terraces, extendable to 400 square-meters, and with a gym and beach club aft. Designer Christian Leyk of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6643" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Coquine![design] (Company)">coquine![design]</a> has unveiled his first design of 2023, the 88-metre superyacht Steamer 888. The bold motor yacht sees a collaboration between France-based design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7105" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Silvia Iraghi Interiors (Company)">Silvia Iraghi</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6643" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Coquine![design] (Company)">coquine![design]</a> to create an impressive superyacht concept.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/265332/image/large-d980f0bae07c9ad4ce4e12b0dc458085.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/265332">Steamer 888 takes inspiration from the Art-Deco skyscraper, known as the Chrysler Building, on the East Side of Manhattan in New York City, USA. “Steamer 888 picks up on the Art-Deco vibes and the streamline design of the thirties, with a strong influence from nautical themes,” explained designer Christian Leyk.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/265333/image/large-692ae95dad87b05099d5c6e0b270bff1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/265333">“We decided on a sleek and fairly narrow fast displacement hull, for efficient long distance cruising at a reasonable speed.
