Named KD and designed by Officina Italiana Design, SuperYacht Times were on scene to capture the 52-metre superyacht in detail as she was lowered into the water during her christening ceremony.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/30528/image/large-ce142fada06c34421c1bdf240532566e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/30528">Describing some of the stand out features that complete the 52Steel, Sanlorenzo state: “The revolutionary elements of 52Steel include its entire stern section: the transparent pool on the main deck lets light through to the area under it, an exclusive beach area resulting from the opening of the doors on three sides, which turn into platforms at water’s edge. Suave and sophisticated but also welcoming and family-friendly, the colour palette in the main saloon and dining room, which take advantage of the full 9.6-metre beam, is based on aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings combined with warm wood veneers, natural leathers and full-height windows for exceptional light and panoramic views. The changes mean that Project Venus shares only the same technical and engineering specifications with her predecessors in the series. A noteworthy addition is the “shark tooth” motif, a design feature halfway along the side of the bridge deck that lends the yacht a powerful personality. The Sindalah Island resort in the Red Sea will be the first of 10 regions completed as part of the mega-development and includes a superyacht marina, yacht club, nine-hole golf course and Michelin-starred restaurants, along with high-end hotels, villas and apartments. Set to open in 2024, the project has been described as the “future of luxury travel.”
