Launched earlier this year, the 60.34 metre Feadship superyacht ROCK.IT is now on her way to the Caribbean for the winter season. Our photographer spotted her in Gibraltar on her way there. Created for an experienced owner who has chartered Feadships in the past, ROCK.IT features the first-time application on a superyacht of an intuitive control and maneuvering system developed for naval applications.
She features naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects, with Sinot Yacht Design responsible for both her interiors and exteriors. Inside, she presents a mix of dark wood and light stone to give her a classic, modern look. A particularly notable feature is the skylight in the sun deck canopy, which automatically dims dependent upon the strength of the sunlight.
On board, she comes with a variety of tenders and water toys including a 7 metre tender, a crew tender and wave runners. Accommodating up to ten guests in total as well as a crew of 12, she is powered by 2x MTU 12V 4000 M53R diesel engines.
