Inaugural IbizaJoySail Regatta set to take place between the 14-17 of October

Originally set to take place this past June, the inaugural edition of the IbizaJoySail Regatta was rescheduled and is set to go forth on the 14th through to the 17th of this month. The IbizaJoySail Regatta is the first superyacht race to include a 70-mile race between Mallorca and Ibiza.Photo: Carlo BorlenghiThe first day of the four-day event kicks off at the STP Shipyard Palma, with sails set to Marina Ibiza as its final destination. The offshore race is the first of its kind for superyachts in the Balearic Islands. The remaining three days of the regatta will embark from Marina Ibiza with coastal races between Ibiza and Formentera.Several notable vessels from the Maxi and Superyacht classes will join the race such as the 36.8-metre Yachting Developments sloop Bliss, the 35.2-metre Nautor’s Swan sailing yacht Highland Fling XV, and the 35.2-metre Nautor’s Swan yacht Shamanna.
