As a builder of high-performance yachts, many reaching speeds of 40 knots or more, directional stability was very important to Jim Smith Boats. "Directional stability is very important for high speeds," said John Vance, Jim Smith Boats president. "Seakeeper's internal gyro just makes sense. This way there are no parts in the water to reduce the boat's performance. Seakeeper's gyro is a unique product and a quality piece of hardware."

Hull #29 features seven staterooms and seven heads. Jim Smith boats have won tournaments throughout the Caribbean and East Coast under all weather conditions.

"Seakeeper is excited to have the opportunity to work with a world-class custom builder like Jim Smith Boats. Our gyros are the perfect addition to a vessel of this type," said John Kermet, Seakeeper's VP of sales, marketing and service. "The most discerning sport fish owners can now realize the best in absolute performance, while minimizing frustrating zero and low-speed boat roll."
