On deck, new teak was laid across most exterior areas. Key running gear was serviced and overhauled, including steering, shafts, bow thruster and rudders. For owner Paul Andrews, the search for the right yacht was a journey that spanned more than a decade. By chance I also discovered a local boat carpenter whose family had been building boats in the region for generations.
