In April, Inserve Yachts moved to prestigious offices in central Southampton. Inserve Yachts provides independent safety, security and technical services to the large yacht industry. The company specialises in ISM and ISPS management systems, tailored to be practical and beneficial to each yacht as well as providing ongoing shore support.
Inserve Yachts director Jon Gray says “Our new location in a prime position within the heart of Southampton’s marine and commercial district enables us to continue to provide a first class service to our clients in more spacious and pleasant surroundings. There is also further opportunity to expand our range of services. In particular we will be able to offer on-site training facilities for selected delegate groups. We offer a personal service to all our clients, and we have built up a reputation for service and integrity within the industry. While our relocation will provide us with larger office facilities and will assist in supporting our new clients, ‘being better by being smaller’ is still something we strongly believe in.”
As part of the company development strategy, Inserve Yachts is also hosting a complimentary forum and reception on 2nd June 2010 at the Ambassadeur Hotel, Juan-les-Pins. The aim of the forum is to focus attention on current and new requirements including the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC), ISM Code amendments, Designated Person knowledge and training, crew certification and safety training. It will also look at future career opportunities open to yacht crew and shore staff. The forum is aimed at yacht personnel, shore managers, yacht and insurance brokers.
