Having been delivered to her owner last spring, the 68.2-metre superyacht Soaring has been showing off her striking exterior lines during her first season in the Mediterranean. The team at Focus Yacht Design devised the new superyacht's detailed design, which was built at the German yard Abeking & Rasmussen.Photo: Tom van OossanenEagle-eyed guests onboard Soaring will notice how the interiors are a smart contrast of contemporary curves and colours with added lavish details and decor. With several nods to nature throughout the design, such as the artistic headboards in the staterooms and textured materials, the interiors pay tribute to the connotations of a soaring bird.

Here on the upper deck aft, the owner can enjoy a cosy outdoor lounging area which is sheltered from view and accessed from the master suite via sliding doors. A library is located forward, offering impressive views of the surroundings. Photo: Marcus MeyerPhoto: Marcus Meyer

Guests can choose to take off on one of Soaring’s two custom tenders or use the impressive stock of toys with her professionally-trained watersports team. The onboard kit includes kayaks, wakeboards, Seabobs, towables, a trampoline and water skis – with still enough space to store mountain bikes and Segways for shore excursions. For those who prefer to take it easy, the beach club’s wellness centre includes a gym, sauna and steam room.
