International Yacht Collection (IYC), are pleased to announce the opening of a new Middle Eastern office in Dubai, UAE. The announcement was made recently at the 2009 Dubai International Boat Show. A partnership between Al Suwaiket Group and Trinity Yachts, LLC., of which IYC is a division, was created as a joint venture under the name of International Yacht Collection Middle East (IYC-ME).
IYC-ME will cover the GCC, Middle East and North African countries. By drawing upon the experience and knowledge of IYC, the Dubai based company will offer it's clients the entire range of yachting services: brokerage, charter management, yacht management, new construction, refit, retail charter and crew placement.
"The GCC is an emerging market that will become increasingly important for megayachts as evidenced by the increase in marina berths and facilities for megayachts" said John Dane, President and CEO of Trinity Yachts.
"Discerning clients, seeking yachts whether for charter or as owners, require that a First Class Experience be available and that can only come from experienced yacht managements Companies such as IYC", commented Sh. Mubarak Al Suwaiket, President and Chairman of Al Suwaiket group.
According to Brian Tansey, Vice President of IYC, "We are very excited about this expansion and it represents a continuation of our commitment to our clients and the industry as a whole."
International Yacht Collection has had exceptional growth over the last few years with approximately three quarters a billion dollars in Central Listings, and over forty (40) superyachts within their central charter fleet.
Tansey continued, "As one of the larger brokerage/charter/management houses in the world with offices covering the Caribbean, Mediterranean and the USA, this was a natural location for us to expand into. As the yacht market continues to grow within the Middle East and GCC countries, we want to be supportive of this."
