Heesen begins building 55m Steel superyacht Project Gemini

Introduced to the market last week is Heesen’s new 55-metre Project Gemini (YN 19755), which is the latest yacht in the yard’s 55m Steel range along with Solemates and Pollux. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects penned the geometric exterior lines of the series alongside Heesen’s in-house engineers. Thanks to two MTU 8V 4000 M63 IMO Tier-III diesel engines, Project Gemini will reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and have a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles when travelling at 13 knots.
