Palumbo starts construction on ISA Continental 80 flagship

Palumbo Superyachts has started construction on a new ISA Continental 80 superyacht project that is being built on speculation. ISA Yachts will commence with the construction of the hull and superstructure of their new flagship while outfitting of the custom interior is scheduled to start in summer 2021. The project forms part of ISA Yachts' new strategic investment plan and drastically reduces the delivery time that owner looking for a yacht of this size face. Like all models in the ISA Continental range, this 80-metre project is the design work of Enrico Gobbi and his Team for Design studio. Fixed balconies on either side of the upper deck with glass inserts help illuminate lounge on this deck with the same concept being applied to the sky lounge one deck above which comes with a gym set up inside. The interior designed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture covers five guest decks from the sundeck down to the lower deck and beach club setup aft. The upper deck with its private features such as a sea view lounge and forward stateroom is designed as an owner’s deck with a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck at the same level for easy and safe transfers for the principal. There are a total of seven cabins on board that can accommodate up to 12 guests. Another highlight is the main deck aft swimming pool with its glass bottom that looks down into the full-beam beach club below. In terms of performance, the yacht is equipped with two MTU 16V4000M63L engines reaching a 17-knot maximum speed and a 12-knot cruising speed with a range of 6200 nautical miles.ISA Continental 80Photo: ISA YachtsISA Continental 80Photo: ISA Yachts
