ISA unveils Omega designed Yara superyacht

The Yara 44 is the latest 44 metre project from ISA Yachts, designed in collaboration with Omega Architects and Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Main characteristics of the superyacht include light spaces from the full height windows, speed in combination with efficiency and range, and an open main deck rather than a closed in formal main deck with the aim to create 50% more usable space in comparison to a traditional layout.

She accommodates guests over 5 rooms, including 2 twins, two VIP and the opulent owner’s suite with an extended view on the water created by full length lower windows. The lower windows are matched with a characteristic knuckle to continue towards the bow. Aft, the beach club houses a sauna, toilet and a service counter as well as a sauna or steam room, a bathroom and an area to rest and relax with a counter cabinet for drinks.

Outside, she includes a Jacuzzi located aft with spectacular views of the water, as well as a light sundeck with a 360 degree panorama. The foredeck is mainly a crew area, with a 6 metre tender, MOB and jet ski served by a crane. The wheelhouse deck has a cosy sky lounge with bar aft, and the area is connected through glass sliding doors to an external dining table and lounge. The entire sundeck is thought out to provide panoramic views.

One of the notable features of Yara is the aft saloon that can be converted from an exterior space into an interior space, by means of a straightforward sliding and folding glass-door system. This feature gives the owner the ability to adapt to different weather conditions and to be close to the outside. Furthermore, the two cut outs in the bulwarks create enhanced visibility of the water level at side, allowing for full-height windows.

She comes with three engine options, giving her a maximum speed of 30 knots. With the basic 2 X MTU 16V 2000 2 X MTU 16V 2000 engines, she will have a top speed of 24 knots.

A 48 metre yacht is also being designed as part of the project, with Omega and Van Oossanen Naval Architects almost dividing the profile of the 44 metre whilst respecting construction bonds. This will give a potential client the ability to choose between the two lengths quickly and satisfactorily.
