Each year ISS is able to present the large yacht industry with a full day of seminars and networking that captivates yachting enthusiasts and inspires the interest of the industry’s leadership. This year, ISS is featuring an extraordinary headline speaker, Jimmy Cornell, for its annual Yacht Industry and Crew Training Seminars. Mr. Cornell captures every audience he speaks to with his tales of sails—including circumnavigating the globe three times—and is the author of 14 books on the subject. His presentation “World Cruising” will capture the essence of his most famous (and oft reprinted) reference book.
With two morning and afternoon seminars that run concurrently from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. and 1:00 – 3:00 P.M., Mr. Cornell will present his material in both sessions while “Introduction to Yachting & the Marine Industry,” presented by Kristen Cavallini-Soothill of American Yacht Institute, will take place in the morning and “Business Etiquette & Presenting Yourself for Interview,” presented by Martha Galvez, a certified trainer from the Protocol School of Washington, will run in the afternoon.
For participants who pre-register, a complimentary luncheon will be served. Over the years, a lot of great networking has taken place over lunch!
