IYC chefs are winners at MYBA Chefs de Concours Competition

IYC (International Yacht Collection, LLC.), is pleased to announce that Chefs from two of the yachts in IYC’s charter fleet have been awarded first place in the MYBA St. Maarten Charter Show 2007 Concours De Chefs Competition. Stephanie Hodges – Atlantica, Division I (135 ft. and below) and Vincent Fraissange - Azzurra II, Division II (Over 135 ft.) have each taken top honors in the competition.

Chef Stephanie Hodges’ (M/Y Atlantica) winning dishes included: Sesame Seared Yellow Fin Tuna Drizzled with Wasabi Sauce and Sweet Soy topped with Baby Rocket. Shiitake Mushroom and Seared Wagyu Beef Filet on top of Roasted Asparagus with Horseradish Crème. Carrot and Zucchini Cake with Pineapple and Walnuts Topped with Pineapple Cream Cheese Ice Cream

Chef Vincent Fraissange’s (M/Y Azzurra II) winning dishes included: Tamarind Butter Poached Local Spiney Lobster tail with Braised Mutton and Caramelized Onion Ravioli, Carrot Puree, Yellow Curry Froth. Roasted Pineapple with Coconut Mascarpone Cream, Almond Praline Crumble and Banana Sorbet The premise of the Concours de Chefs is to recognize and showcase the outstanding culinary talent of professional chefs onboard the worlds most exclusive yachts. “Yacht Cuisine” and the onboard culinary experience is one of the most exciting and memorable highlights of chartering.
