OneWater Marine, one of the fastest growing yacht retailers in the United States, have just appointed industry veteran James Brewer as the new Managing Director of Roscioli Yachting Center in Florida. OneWater Marine acquired Roscioli at the tail end of 2020, as the focal shipyard of the newly founded OneWater Yacht Group, headed by industry entrepreneur Tom George.
The Roscioli Yachting Center is a large shipyard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and acts as the refit, repair and maintenance shipyard for the extensive fleet of OneWater Yacht Group. The yard was established by Bob Roscioli, another Florida industry veteran, and is a highly respected site with a trusted reputation. James Brewer will begin his new role on the 12th of July, and will lead the strategy, planning, execution and business development of the shipyard. Austin Singleton, CEO of OneWater Marine, commented, “James is a legend in the South Florida yachting community. We are thrilled to have him join the OneWater family to extend Bob Roscioli’s legacy and grow our yachting sales and service capabilities.”
Roscioli Yachting Center offers services for yachts up to 46-metres, and supports the sale of Absolute, Belize, Rivera and Sunseeker yachts. Brewer has more than four decades of experience in the industry, including at Derecktor Shipyards, where he spent more than 30 years managing business development. Tom George, Managing Director of OneWater Yacht Group added, “We are thrilled to welcome James into the OneWater family. His deep industry knowledge will be invaluable to further developing the OneWater Yacht Group’s growth strategy including expanding the Roscioli Yachting Center brand in the refit and service market.”
