JFA Yachts launches 43m superyacht

The French JFA shipyard has launched hull number 22C, a 43 metre motor yacht on Saturday 19th March 2011. The all-aluminium expedition styled superyacht was designed by the Dutch design firm Vripack.

The superyacht is built for remote expeditions and therefore houses two large 5.60 metre tenders on the foredeck.

The interior features a large saloon and dining room on the main deck. The wheelhouse is located on the upper deck, as well as the captain’s cabin and the library. On the lower deck are four double guests cabins, the master suite and the crew quarters. The total interior area encompasses around 340m2 and the yacht can accommodate 11 guests and 8 crew.

Built to Bureau Veritas class and in compliance with the MCA LY2, the yacht is powered by twin 750hp Cummins diesel engines and has a transatlantic range at 11 knots.

The construction of hull number 22C started in June 2008 and during the next three months she will undergo sea trials before delivery in time for the summer season to her owner.
