“She has extensive experience managing both editorial and commercial teams, and reporting, editing and commissioning projects across all platforms. She has long-term relationships with titles owned by Hearst, TI Media, Stylist Media, and Hachette, giving her a unique insight into producing content for vastly different demographics.
“We want to keep investing in the quality of our content and Jo’s background makes her the ideal person to mentor and guide our ambitious and talented in-house editorial team.”
Jo joins the team which includes Editors Laura Nicholls and Georgia Tindale, Digital Editor Charl van Rooy and Associate Editor Justin Ratcliffe.
“We’re aware that many companies will be holding off on investing during these uncertain times, however, we believe that we’re in a strong position to move ahead with our growth plan,” De Waard continued. “There will be opportunities along the way and we will be ready to seize them. We want to grow our company and create a better business, which requires investments and we are happy to make them.”
