Last Sunday the latest yacht from Dutch superyacht builder Jongert was christened. The christening of the Jongert 2700M Ithaka took place in the historical centre of Medemblik. This historical location is close to the location where the Jongert shipyard was located for many years. The huge new facilities of Jongert are now located in Wieringerwerf, near Medemblik.
In line with the Jongert tradition the owner and his guests were invited for a launching party in front of the castle of Medemblik, Radboud. Now that Ithaka (hull # 424) is christened, she is ready to set sail to warmer destinations.
