Mike Horsley, Edmiston’s yacht specialist is pleased to announce the signing of three new Central Agency listings; Black Shark, Javelin and Adventuress.

Built in 1982 by Royal Huisman, Black Shark represents a showpiece in the era of Maxi sailing yachts. Designed by German Frers and constructed in Aluminium, she combines racing performance with comfort and style. Following a complete refit in 2003 which included new teak decks, rigging and Doyle sails as well as a numerous interior modifications, Black Shark is now more than ready for racing and cruising this summer. Javelin, built in 1896 by Payne & Sons in Southampton, is a 26m classic gaff ketch. Immaculately restored and upgraded between 2002 and 2006 she is in turnkey condition with numerous modifications, yet she still retains all the character and features of a classic sailing yacht. With a detailed and well documented history since her launch, this is as much a piece of history as a sailing yacht. Asking price EURO 2,500,000.

Constructed originally as a schooner at the Fife yards in 1924, Adventuress is the fine product of the legendary William Fife hand. She completed an extensive rebuild project from 2000 to 2004 to ensure her structural integrity and to restore her original accommodation and deck layout. Certified by the American Coast Guard she is certified to carry up to 33 guests and has accommodation for 6 permanent guests onboard. Asking price USD 3,200,000.

William Christie in the London office is pleased to announce his appointment as the Central Agent for Sea Horn, the 21m Nordia sailing cruiser. Built in 2004 and designed by Van Dam, this aluminium cruising yacht accommodates up to 6 guests in three cabins.
