At the mark by the Tre Monti shallows, the superyachts headed for the islet of Monaci, which they rounded before embarking on their upwind return leg to Porto Cervo. Italy-based design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6004" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lazzarini Design Studio (Company)">Lazzarini Design</a> has unveiled the rendering for a new 74-metre foil superyacht Plectrum. The motor yacht moves and lifts above the water surface to give the effect that she is ‘flying.’ &nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/255076/image/large-809e20ffdce0819beb3b377485221695.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/255076">Plectrum takes her design inspiration from the latest America's Cup sailing yachts, more specifically the Prada models, that use foil cant systems to lift and lower the immensely strong, and heavy foil cant arms.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/255066/image/large-5bee4f2ac6b856036ffa4942f0ed3e0b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/255066">Plectrum has been conceived to be entirely composed and constructed with dry carbon fibre composite materials.
