KRM Yacht has delivered the newly refitted 30-metre motor yacht Lara to her owners after working on the Peri Yachts for seven months. Photo: KRM Yacht Refit & Repair ManagementLara underwent a series of refits, which saw different aspects of her exterior areas, as well as her entire interiors, redesigned. Her flybridge area was redesigned by Hot Lab and features an additional sitting area, hardtop and wet bar as well as a new folding swimming platform, extending her overall length from 28.74m to 30m.
Lara’s new interiors were also designed by Hot Lab together with Scaro and built by KRM in-house team. KRM Yacht also repainted her hull, installed new exterior lighting, renewed all exterior awnings and decking and updated her entertainment and automation system at its refit facility in Istanbul. Her new owner was very much involved throughout the entire refit process, to ensure the end result was “just as he dreamed.” Photo: KRM Yacht Refit & Repair Management
“For KRM Yacht turning an old boat into an owners dream boat is the most important thing - this is worth all of our hard work and effort,” says KRM in a press release. “Now her owner is enjoying the beautiful Turkish coasts with his dream yacht.” Photo: KRM Yacht Refit & Repair ManagementPhoto: KRM Yacht Refit & Repair ManagementLara’s refit project marked the first time Hot Lab and KRM Yacht worked together, but will unlikely be the last time the two companies work together. Formerly known as Mitsi, Lara was first built in 2010. She was originally designed by Dixon Yacht Design, with interiors from Scaro.
