Young design studio Ks Yachts has unveiled their design for a 120 foot raised deckhouse sailing yacht, as part of a thesis project in collaboration with IED, Master in Yacht Design. As a starting point, the designer's goal was to create a true sailing yacht, yet with all the luxury and space of a similar sized motor yacht.
Stefano Kuokas comments "The real challenge from the design point of view, was to have a light deckhouse, with enough space for a great interior. The result is a magnificent raised deckhouse sailing yacht, with an amazing saloon and a comfortable covered external living area".
The yacht features a clever designed tender garage, designed to launch the tender in a fast and simple way. The system is composed of a pool mechanism that is housed inside the stern of the yacht.
