Last week, lamination of the pure carbon hull of the first Swan 115S was completed and the yacht entered Nautor’s Boatbuilding Technology Centre (BTC) to start the next phase of the build process.
There are currently three flagship Swan 115s (two FD Flush-Deck and one in the S semi-raised saloon configuration) in various stages of production. An impressive feat for the Finnish yard, having just launched the innovative design of the Swan 115 less than six months ago.
The innovative Swan 115 is the new flagship Swan, and she has an innovative hull design, while using leading edge construction techniques and materials.
Designed by naval architect German Frers, the new Swan flagship has been developed with the needs of both blue water and long distance cruising in mind.
