Announced this week by Amels, the Dutch shipyard is to start construction on its largest motor yacht project to date; a 78-metre custom superyacht designed by Espen Oeino. According to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/434" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Balk Shipyard (Company)">Balk Shipyard's</a>Evan Kortmann, the yard's focus is on ensuring that ‘vessels are primed for their next chapter’.&nbsp;The refit scope encompassed a range of structural, cosmetic and technical upgrades. This included spot hull repairs, rudder works, full antifouling treatment and a fresh pastel blue finish applied below the waterline.
