Latest J Class addition Svea arrives in the Med
The new 43.6-metre J Class sailing yacht Svea has arrived in Mediterranean waters where she will be spending the summer season. The Vitters-built modern classic landed in Palma de Mallorca earlier this month as the Dutch yachting brand’s first completed J Class vessel.

Svea was developed in cooperation with Claasen Shipyards, and Hoek Design used the original drawings by Tore Hom from 1937 to redesign the yacht’s lines and construction plans. deVosdeVries Design took over the design of the interior spaces following the sad passing of Pieter Beeldsnijder last year.
Ready for a season of racing, we look forward seeing Svea in action and soon battling it out on the water with her fellow J Class sisters.
