The third and latest edition of the MCM Advocate is hot off the press and winging its way to clients and media around the globe as the MYS draws to a close and preparations begin for Fort Lauderdale.
Opening with a market overview by MCM founding partners, Nigel Ingram and Peter Wilson – who also provides a diary of a typical day ‘on site’ managing a new construction on the back cover – an impressive list of milestone projects since 1988 shows the depth of MCM’s expertise and experience (America’s Cup winner to Superyachts).
Significant recent launches, managed by MCM, include the motorsailer / explorer yacht Hortense and classic-style sailing yacht Atalante. Ongoing new builds include the J Boat Lionheart, a 55m sistership to Adèle, the 43m motor yacht CII and the new 45m Paraiso soon to start at Alloy Yachts. The new Dubois designed Kokomo with an RWD interior is to launch at Alloy Yachts imminently – in December 2009 at the same time as the Dubois 45m sloop with a Rhoades Young interior Lady B will launch on the other side of the world at Vitters Shipyard.
Images (including a snapshot of Peter and Nigel, when racing professionals aboard Maxis 31 years ago) and news plus updates from MCM’s Yacht Operations Management (a growing activity) in Newport and Palma provide compelling reading, all complemented by a report on MCM over its 21 years in business.
