At METS 2007, Awlgrip(®) will present the latest product to be introduced to paint applicators, yards and boat builders operating in Europe. Visitors to the Awlgrip stand (01.208) can find out more about a new filler, Awlflair®) L.W. Epoxy Trowelable Fairing Compound that boasts reduced overall working time for the applicator whilst maintaining the highest finish standards for the yacht owner.
The new version is even easier to mix, whether by hand or machine, due to its lower viscosity and creamier consistency. The pot life is 1 ½ - 2 hours at 25°C / 77°F, making application easier. Sanding is quicker to achieve, as it spreads easily to a super-smooth finish.
The Awlgrip team of experts will be available throughout METS to provide information and advice on the full range of Awlgrip coatings, including Awl(®)Coat TPC. Launched in June 2006, AwlCoat TPC is a temporary, protective coating that provides excellent protection during assembly, production and transit of yachts.
