Construction is well underway in Turkey on Mengi Yay’s latest 43.7-metre superyacht project, Virtus. Scheduled for completion towards the end of 2019, steel construction of her hull is almost finished, with her aluminium superstructure currently in build.
Virtus features naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects, with the Italian design studio VYD undertaking both her interior and exterior design. On board, she accommodates guests over four guest staterooms in addition to a generous master suite. Speaking of the project, VYD’s Paolo Dose says: “Virtus is the product of a strong and elegant design approach, with a sleek profile and innovative technology. These strong and pure lines are what make Virtus special, coupled with the fantastic experience of Mengi Yay.”
Powered by twin CAT engines, she has a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
