YCO are pleased to announce some new additions to their charter fleet for the 2009 season. Jems, the latest launch from Heesen measures 44m and accommodates up to 10 guests in a contemporary interior. She will be based in the Mediterranean for charters this summer.
Bluebird of Happiness and Bembik also join the fleet, 26m and 27m Leopards respectively. Both accommodate up to 9 guests and will be based in the Eastern Med this summer.
Finally a Swan 80, Selene, has also recently joined the fleet. Launched in 2000 Selene underwent a complete refit earlier this year and has since won the Heineken Regatta in St. Maarten.
Available for charter this winter in the Caribbean, Selene accommodates up to 6 guests.
YCO has also been appointed Central Agent for the sale of QM of London, a 50m Benetti from the Golden Bay series. Accommodating up to 14 guests, QM underwent a full refit in 2006. QM will be based in the South of France this summer and has an asking price of 16,000,000 Euros.
YCO is also pleased to welcome two new Client Representatives for Sales and Purchase. Joe Jorlett has over 20 years of experience in the yachting industry, both on board as a Captain and on shore with new builds at some of the world’s most highly regarded shipyards. Joe has been working closely with YCO over the past year on several new construction projects and now brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to the Sales and Purchase team.
Ben Bartlett also joins the Sales and Purchase department. Having sailed seriously since childhood, Ben took his first Captain’s job at just 25. Since then he has worked on a range of yachts and been involved in numerous race programmes and several prestigious new build projects. Using this expertise, Ben will act as a specialist representative for sailing and racing yachts at YCO.
