Lift Emotion BV the Dutch manufacturer for special marine elevators for superyachts, has successfully commissioned the marine elevator for the NB48 M/Y Leo Fun. The trawler superyacht with steel hull and aluminum superstructure, has been styled and designed by Paolo Caliari with the contribution of the shipyard’s own naval architects.

Jean Guy Verges has designed the interior; which will feature accommodation for 12 guests and as many crew. Built to ABS class and fully MCA compliant, the yacht will achieve 16 knots powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B engines, each producing 1,750hp

M/Y Leo Fun follows after Lift Emotion successfully commissioned the lift onboard her sister ship NB47 M/Y Vinydrea. This elevator is engineered to work within the limited space of the steel and aluminum trunk of the superyacht. With the use of glass car and trunk doors the elevator trunk is visible from the outside and will be used to display painted art.

A Solas A0 classed door was needed on the lower deck. This A0 classed door is not designed for elevators, therefore Lift Emotion BV engineered a special solution using the needed certificated elevator door locks. The 4 person elevator with a capacity of 300 kg has a stainless steel finish.
