Today, we sat down with Trinity Yachts' Billy Smith III and John F. Dane, on board superyacht Lohengrin, where we learned how superyacht Lohengrin, one of the largest yachts in the region, became based there.
Lohengrin was custom built in 2006 by Trinity Yachts, with the yacht's interior designed by Scott Carpenter and exterior styled by Geoff Van Aller. "The interior is what attracted the attention of the new owners, a large Chinese corporation", Billy shares with us. "It turned out to be a perfect yacht for them, and the new owners seem very happy with her". "The new owners have an office in the USA, and they did a lot of research to find the perfect yacht, which is being used mainly for corporate entertaining".
Billy concludes "We haven't yet sold another yacht to a Chinese client, but for the future, it is going to be a big help to have Lohengrin based here".
