Oceanco has today revealed an exciting new superyacht concept at the Dubai International Boat Show 2017. Named Amara, the 120-metre vessel has been designed in collaboration with Sam Sorgiovanni Designs and was unveiled by His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, Vice President and Chairman of Dubai International Marine Club, as well as Mina Seyahi, Senior Advisor to the Dubai International Boat Show.
Amara accommodates up to 20 guests in an environment that has been specifically created with socialising in mind - an aspect typified on the main deck which features a pool bar, open balconies and large entertainment areas, as well as on the sun deck, where an open-air cinema awaits.
Amongst her standout features is an expansive beach club with three way access to the sea, as well a large wellness area and an additional cinema ready to host up to 16 guests. On the upper deck the expansive owner’s suite is completed with a private plunge pool and an al fresco dining area for more than 20 on the aft deck.
Commenting on the design, Sorgiovanni states: “In designing the exterior lines of Amara, I wanted to portray a very strong and muscular form that was progressive in design but with a timeless appeal.”
The Dubai International Boat Show kicked off today and will draw to a close on 4th March.
