Wider Yachts have released some of the first images taken of their largest completed yacht to date, the 45m superyacht Genesi, on the opening day of the 56th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Genesi was launched two weeks ago at the Wider superyacht division in Ancona, and is currently undergoing final on board tests and sea trials.
The yacht’s design is the work of Fulvio De Simoni, who decorated the elegant and contemporary interior using custom furniture pieces and leather panelling supplied by Poltrona Frau. Large full height windows in the main and upper lounges create a spectacular viewing point from the comfort of the rich and comfortable interior.
Forward of the main saloon is the 75m2 full beam owner’s suite. This space can be cleverly split into two separate areas by a sliding door that isolates the study area from the sleeping quarters and walk-in wardrobe. The suite also has its own 5.6m2 fold-down terrace. The bright and functional bathroom is fitted with a 3m shower and custom made wooden bathtub.
Further guest accommodations can be found below deck and consists of four en-suite cabins; 2 VIP’s and 2 guest cabins, one of which with a Pullman berth suited for a child.
Genesi is expected to offer a range of 3,000 nm while cruising at 13 knots. That number is increased to 4,200 nm when a speed of 11 knots is maintained. A maximum speed of 15 knots is available, and the yacht can steam at 5 knots using her batteries in zero emission mode alone.
Wider will be revealing more information and images once the yacht is ready for delivery. She is currently for sale at EUR 26,000,000.
