Live from MYS 2017: CCN reveal two new superyacht projects

The Turkish shipbuilders CCN revealed two new superyacht projects today at the Monaco Yacht Show. With exteriors and interiors designed in collaboration with the award-winning Italian design studio, Hot Lab, a 55-metre and a 75-metre yacht will soon be added to CCN’s explorer, Ice Yachts range.

Construction on CCN’s 68-metre motor yacht, Day’s, the first yacht in the Ice Yachts range, is well underway at the AES shipyard in Turkey, with delivery expected by the end of 2018.

The two new projects have been designed to meet the standard and design of Day’s, as Antonio Romano from Hot Lab explains, “These two concepts are united with the 68-metre already under construction by their shared family feel and characterised by tense and masculine lines, while maintaining the concept of being one with the outdoors, made possible by the presence of ample glass surfaces running full-height.”

Another characteristic of these two new models in the Ice Yachts range is the careful attention paid to their distribution of interior volumes: with a 2.7 metre headroom on the main and upper decks on board Day’s, the new models will also reach impressive levels of headroom in their category.
