Rossinavi has announced on the eve of the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show that it has started with the construction of a new 49.7-metre motor yacht project called FR038. The Luca Dini-designed project was sold by Kurt Lehman of Yacht Moments.
Rossinavi, together with Lehman and Dini managed to capture every usable space inside the sub 500 GT vessel to make this a high-volume superyacht despite its sporty and sleek exterior. “FR038, a full light-alloy motor yacht is a good interpretation of the eternal compromise of a sports design and the exploitation of the internal areas,” explains Federico Rossi.
“The client, a yacht owner with a lot of experience, passionate for yachts with sportive character, asked me to design a superyacht for long-range navigation and maintaining generous outdoor spaces”
Initial tests indicate that the vessel will be able to reach a top speed of 23 knots to match its athletic profile. Now in build, FR038 is expected to be ready for delivery in 2020.
