MYS 2017: Perini Navi’s 60m range grows with new sale

Perini Navi has announced the sale of a new 60-metre sailing yacht that will increase this popular range to four units after Seahawk, Perseus 3 and Seven. In addition, the shipyard is in discussions to secure the build of a 42-metre sailing yacht after having received a letter of intent from an interested client.

Perhaps the most important news announced yesterday, however, was the grouping of Perini’s Navi’s previously separated motor and sailing yacht lines under one single brand, driven by the philosophy: One Brand, One Company. This would mean the new motor yacht models will no longer be built under the Picchiotti brand and will instead carry the newly redesigned Perini Navi logo. “We chose to unite under the brand Perini Navi sailing is that the engine and launch innovative product lines," commented President and CEO, Tacoli Lamberto. “We really believe in the projects on which we are working. The goal is to further strengthen our offering while keeping intact the tradition, quality and innovation, essential values for Perini Navi."

Perini Navi will have its latest sailing yacht on display in Monaco this week, the 60-metre S/Y Seven. A statement from the owner, Ennio Doris, gives insight into his passion for sailing and family life. "We wanted a name that would express the strong bond with my family: Seven, because seven is the number of my grandchildren. With this new boat we are able to navigate all together, a passion that unites us and brings us even closer.
