Hong Kong based shipbuilders, Pride Megayachts, unveiled two new superyacht concepts today at the Monaco Yacht Show: the 94.7-metre Red Star and the 50-metre Fifty, designed in-house, in collaboration with the Dubai-based luxury yacht designer, Cyrille Bieri.
Red Star features a futuristic design across balanced surfaces, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. On board, she accommodates up to 20 guests across generous cabins, including a master suite, VIP suite and guest rooms. Up to 30 crew members are also accommodated on board.
Representing the shipyard’s origins, the main deck features intricate Chinese-style wood carvings and an authentic tea degustation table: a theme which is continued throughout the yacht’s design, which features Chinese artworks, furniture and artefacts.
The bridge deck on board Red Star comes complete with a traditional Gentlemen’s Club featuring a home cinema, an intimate cigar lounge and a bar and games table. The lower deck beach club and spa comes with a folding terrace and is connected to the aft swim platform for massages and relaxing sauna experiences by the sea. With a range of 7000 nautical miles, Red Star has a maximum speed of 16 knots, and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The aptly named 50-metre superyacht, Fifty, has a traditional three deck configuration and accommodates up to 12 guests across one owner’s cabin, two VIP cabins, two double rooms and one twin room.
The large master suite is located full beam forward, and is complimented by a dedicated private lounge. A crew of nine is also accommodated for on board.
Her interior features large windows and a flexible, fully-customisable design to meet every owner’s tastes. The upper lounge is designed for entertaining, offering panoramic views outside through full-height windows and a bar.
The design of the 50-metre motoryacht keeps within traditional lines, whilst appearing both elegant and aggressive. With a range of 4,000 nautical miles, Fifty has a maximum speed of 18 knots, and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
