Yesterday I was invited by the team of Horizon Yachts to join them for a sea trial onboard the AC80 catamaran superyacht. The custom 24.70 metre catamaran superyacht has been praised throughout for her craftsmanship and interior fit and finish as a luxury catamaran.
Originally the 8.30 metre wide motor yacht was built with a master suite on the main deck, however since her launch in 2012 this has been changed to a lounge, which includes a karaoke system. The yacht can now accommodate 8 guests in four staterooms, two in each hull.
With elegantly designed, generous space inside and out, the superyacht is ideal for relaxation, entertainment and family cruising. The multihull design features a shallow draft, enhanced stability and superior hydrodynamic properties for economical extended cruising. She has a displacement of 95 tons and fuel capacity of 17,600 litres.
