The fourth yacht in the Moonen 97 series is currently available for viewings at the 2011 Cannes Boat Show. Dorien Bilterijst was kind enough to give us a tour of this 97 footer, which will also be up for show at the Monaco Yacht Show. With sister ship Livia (number 3 in the 97 series) being an award finalist, Moonen is confident that a buyer will soon be found.
The yacht offers spacious accommodations for eight people in a neutral modern styling. “We have deliberately chosen for a contemporary cosy look that is sure to appeal to many people, while also retaining the air of luxury one would expect from a yacht of this standard“, the yard explains. “The fine cherry wood paneling is offset by accents in the decoration, including the subtle carpeting and leather surfaces on tables and cabinets. There is also a lovely synthesis of flowing and straight lines, which is a very natural way to shape an interior. Add in lots of natural and artificial light and you have an interior of distinction and class.”
The full-beam master stateroom has an unusually large walk-in dressing room and the yacht also features an impressive VIP stateroom plus two guest suites.
The Moonen 97 also has good crew accommodation for a yacht of this size, making it easily adapted to the chartering market. We believe she is the perfect opportunity to get your hands on a brand new quality Dutch-built superyacht.
