Live report from Cannes: the Nisi 2400

After reporting about the Nisi 2400 last month, we had a chance to see it live at the 2011 Cannes Boat Show. The kind people at Nisi Yachts were nice enough to give us a personal tour of this 24 metre beauty, taking us everywhere from the master suite all the way down to the engine room.

The Nisi 2400 is a semi-custom series designed by the Setzer Design Group. She features a wave-piercing hull, pod propulsion, stabilizers, and the cutting-edge SkyHook®, an innovative dynamic positioning system.

The best yachtsmen hold a special place in their hearts for a simple yacht that connects them to the sea,” says Christos Livadas, Chairman, CEO and founder of NISI Yachts. “For them, NISI revives their feelings of effortless pleasure and casual elegance with open-water performance. For me, NISI is a passion project,” Mr. Livadas continues. “She is beautiful, elegant and simple – a 24-meter superyacht.”

Below decks, NISI’s four elegant staterooms sleep eight guests, and offers private ensuites for each. The full-beam master suite features is located amidship for maximum comfort in any sea condition. The VIP suite, affords private and luxurious guest quarters featuring enhanced sound dampening while at anchor or underway.

Powered by twin or triple pod propulsion, NISI's hull was designed for efficient offshore cruising. Available engine options provide speeds exceeding 33+ knots while her hybrid hull allows for a range of 1,500 nautical miles at 9 knots.
