Logos Marine signs contract for 27 metre yacht

Logos Marine, working in collaboration with Setzer Yacht Architects, is proud to announce a new 88’ (27 m) “Fast Passage” yacht designed for an experienced owner with an appreciation for modern, seagoing vessels offerring comfort. The yacht’s verstatile, semi-displacement hull will provide both extended range and fast cruise options off of a Caterpiller C-18 propulsion system. Our goal with this design was to challenge pre-conveived notions of what an all-around, go-anyhere yacht should be,” said Ward Setzer, President of Setzer Yacht Architects. “The result is a blend of modern and classical design elements into what we believe represents the future of bluewater yachting.”

The vessel is designed for construction with a somewhat less-common combination of materials: while the hull will be constructed in steel, the yacht superstructure will be light-weight composite which, in addition to being easier to maintain , will enable more unique styling. Additional features of the vessel will be the inclusion of multiple, mixed-use outdoor seating and entertainment spaces. These will include a sun lounge and eating area situation on the bow, sunpads situated on the aft deck and flybridge, as well as a oversized swim platforms and hot tub areas. Accomodations will include full beam master and VIP cabins, two guest cabins, and generous aft crew quaters with laundry and a crew dining areas.
