Each of these yachts represents the longest yacht of its kind in the world, with Sailing Yacht A classed as the longest sail-assisted motor yacht in the world and Azzam crowned longest motor yacht in the world when she was completed in 2013 at Lürssen. Sailing Yacht A was built by Nobiskrug in 2017 for an experienced owner and designed by Philippe Starck and Dykstra Naval Architects. Commissioned by Middle Eastern royalty, Azzam is the design work of Nauta Design and Creation Line Decoration. Measuring 13,136 GT, Azzam is not to be confused as the largest yacht in the world, a title currently belonging to the 156-metre Dilbar which comes in at an impressive 15,917 GT.
